These are the machines every fur farmer needs in one form or another. Each is of the quality and durability you would expect when it comes from the land of fur farming, Denmark. Ordering these requires planning because new machines are made in limited quantities and it takes time to ship them over by boat. So late winter and early spring are the times for orders to be taken and goods planned to be shipped.
HG Fleshing Machine:
In the new fleshing machine from HG, the skin is first processed using a set of four scraping rollers, where a patented water-spray system simultaneously leads the fat away and keeps the scraping rollers clean. The skin is then processed by a fat scraper that uses a mechanical system to keep itself clean. The skin is then scraped again using a set of four scraping rollers which are also kept clean by the water-spray system. This process leaves the skin almost completely without any fat. The system features no suction because the water-spray setup leads all the fat down into the fat pump, which can transport it over a distance of up to 40 meters.

HG Easy skin – skinning machine:
Combi Cut & Quick Cut:
The programme has been updated in 2010 so that the slicing and hind leg loosening processes are now run in two separate cycles. This makes the machine up to 20% faster to work with, because there is no need to wait to insert a new animal until the tower is in position.
After the cross cut, the tail is cut up extremely accurately. Then both the tail and hindlegs are loosened lengthwise, meaning that the belly skin does not burst.
The encoder, which controls the moving parts, makes it possible to set for example the blade depth to a precision of less than one millimetre. The mink is now ready to be put on the skinning table. Quite simply, this allows the saving of one man in the skinning line.
HG Self-Emptying Drums:
Self-Emptying Skin Drum
The new body drum is designed on simple principles. The drum can be tilted to move the sawdust away from the mink before emptying. After emptying and cleaning, simply tilt the drum back and the sawdust is ready for the next process.
Self-Emptying Body Drum
This drum operates in 3 stages; the first stage drums the pelts in the sawdust per your predetermined time. During the second stage the drums rear legs extend placing the mink in the netting area which is also timed. Lastly, the legs are fully extended and the mink are deposited in your container.
The HG machines can be setup with a conveyor to transport the animal or pelt to the next station. Conveyor belts save time and physical lifting.
- Suitable for use in connection with self-emptying body drum
- Carries at least 100 mink at a time
- Automatic conveying and stoppage
- Delivers the mink at the hight of your choice
Conveyor belts are available in all shapes. Whether you need to move bodies, skins or anything else, there is a conveyor available for you.
